Welcome to Vassura Analogy Art

The lifelong creative world of Pierre Luigi Vassura

Pierre Luigi Vassura’s art emerged from a life shaped by travel, cultural encounters, and decades of devoted experimentation with materials, colour, and form.  A self-made artist, he built a visual language grounded in Analogical Formalism.  He believed that art reveals the “original shape of thought.”  Vassura’s practice was rooted in using shapes and vibrant colours to transform memories, cultural fragments and lived experiences into new, imaginative forms, , the foundation of his visual language.

Creating was not simply an activity for Vassura; it was his way of being.  Supported by his family, he spent a lifetime immersed in making, an act that served as expression, therapy, and escape.  His works combine discipline, imagination, and a deep respect for human creativity.

Vassura’s art champions originality, freedom, and the enduring power of human expression in a world increasingly shaped by technology and conformity.  Each piece invites viewers to look closely, reflect, and reconnect with their own creative spirit.

Though his talent was not fully recognized during his lifetime, those who encountered his work understood its depth and passion. His extensive body of art remains a testament to his vision and continues to be shared to honour his legacy.
